TANTRUM: Talking Out of Turn

Improvisational comedy troupe TANTRUM is Talking Out of Turn with its unique style of long-form improv performance on Wednesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in the Truman Forum at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.

Taking suggestions, TANTRUM spins impromptu skits that generate a succession of spontaneous scenes aimed at giving the audience fits (of laughter). Every performance is different, because everything is improvised—and anything can happen. This is the last of three installments in a series of Talking Out of Turn performances.

Veterans of the local improvisational comedy scene, the TANTRUM cast includes Trish Berrong, Pete Calderone, Nikki Dupont, Rob Grabowski, Megan Mercer, Michael Montague Jr., and Josh Steinmetz.

The cast will be joined by Kansas City Public Library Executive Director Crosby Kemper III, a special guest whose monologues throughout the evening will serve as inspiration for TANTRUM skits.

Admission is free. Click here or call 816.701.3407 to RSVP.
