Alive Inside (2014)

Join us in September, October, and November as the Library shows three compelling, feature-length documentaries spotlighting some of today’s most topical health and wellness issues. Following each screening, representatives from community health partners lead an open discussion.

Alive Inside (2014; 78 min.)
Visionaries including Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit Music & Memory, buck a broken healthcare system to demonstrate music’s ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it. This uplifting exploration of music and the mind was the 2014 Sundance Film Festival’s Audience Award winner.
