The Southeast Branch Library is located across from Swope Park and the Kansas City Zoo. It has particularly strong collections in African-American literature, urban fiction, urban Christian fiction, children's folklore, and animals, as well as jazz, blues, and gospel music on compact disc.

Smile A Mile Exercise Class
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Do you want to shape up and lose weight? Come exercise with us every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. We offer both high and low impact exercises for seniors or anyone interested in starting an exercise program! Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
For children ages 0-6.
Teen Gaming
Most weekdays at 3 p.m.
Wii, Playstation II, board games from Chess to Monopoly are all available for teens to play during Gaming. Please bring and share the games you have for even more fun.
