Summer Reading

The Kansas City Public Library wants to partner with you on your reading adventures this summer! For every three hours you read, you can win a prize. Read for 12 hours to complete the program and earn a book plus other prizes. There will also be drawings for additional prizes, so make sure and get your name in for a chance to win!

Get started

1. Sign up for the Summer Reading program at your library and receive a reading log (or register and track your reading online)
2. Use your reading log to track the time you spend reading
3. Visit your library to get a prize for every 3 hours that you read
4. Read for 12 hours to complete the program and earn a book and other cool prizes
