You may make a tax-deductible donation to support the Library at any time by mailing a check payable to Kansas City Public Library or charging a donation when you use our electronic ePay form.
If you would like to discuss giving options please contact the Development Office at 816-701-3518. The Library welcomes gifts of any amount.
Monthly giving
Please use our ePay donation form to set up monthly giving. You may find that monthly or quarterly giving is a convenient and affordable way of providing the level of support that reflects the value you place on the Library. Greenwood Society
Members of the Library's Greenwood Society are invited to meet many special guests in intimate, small group settings. Your support through the Greenwood Society assures the continuation of outstanding public programming.
Planned giving
Gifts to endow the Library demonstrate a fundamental dedication to the long-term intellectual and cultural vigor of the Kansas City community. You can help build the Library endowment through outright gifts of cash, stock, real estate or other assets, for example. You may also choose to include the Kansas City Public Library Foundation in your will or other estate planning. Only a portion of the fund's earnings may be spent each year in order to insure continual growth of the endowment over time.
Tributes and memorials
Would you like to honor a loved one? Consider a tribute or memorial; amounts are kept confidential.
Donations of materials
The Library may be able to accept donations of materials if they are in excellent condition and are an appropriate fit with our collections.
