Patron Notice: Catalog Issues

Monday, October 31st at 2:30 p.m.: Issues have been resolved.

The Library’s catalog is currently experiencing a problem that is preventing all users from being able to login. This means that cardholders are unable to place holds and view checked-out materials on both the online catalog and the KC Library mobile app. Some of our online resources will also be inaccessible due to this login problem.

The problem was caused by a technical issue related to a software upgrade and may take some time to resolve. If you need to place a hold or view your account information, please contact Library staff who will be happy to serve you. Due dates from Oct. 21 forward have been extended to Nov. 3 to give patrons time to renew after the fix is applied.

The following services are not affected by this issue:

  1. Searching the catalog for available titles
  2. Managing your account on the Library Card Portal
  3. Logging in to OverDrive/Libby, hoopla, or kanopy
