This employee provides reference, information, community referral, readers advisory, and ILL services to facilitate effective use of library resources: Provides responses to reference queries in person, on the telephone, and on-line; accesses broad collection of reference materials to supply users with authoritative information and identify sources of information; assists customers in the use of online resources; recommends and retrieves materials in support of customer requests; provides information on community services and events; promotes and accepts requests for materials in circulati

Under the supervision of the Evening and Weekend Supervisor, this position provides basic library services to customers, performs circulation/registration support tasks, assists with collection maintenance, and shelves/retrieves library materials, and provides watcher's advisory. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or G.E.D, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills; and intermediate computer skills. 24 hours per week. Customer service experience preferred.

Under the direction of the Manager of Central Library Operations, works in all the Central Library's public service departments: Circulation, Technology Center, Audio-Visual, Youth Services, and Missouri Valley Special Collections. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or G.E.D, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills; and intermediate computer skills. Library experience or enrollment in a Library Science program preferred. 20 hours per week. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9am to 1pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. $16.31 per hour.
