Under the supervision of the Customer Services Manager, this position provides basic library services to customers, performs circulation/registration support tasks, assists with collection maintenance, and shelves/retrieves library materials, and provides watcher's advisory. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or G.E.D, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills; and intermediate computer skills. 24 hours per week. Schedule: Wed 1-9 PM; Thu 1 -5 PM; Fri 9 AM – 1 PM; Sat 9:30 AM – 5 PM. $12.25 per hour.

This position serves as a primary contact point for customers using the Library, ensuring a positive customer experience by determining customer needs, analyzing and solving problems, and directing customers to appropriate resources.

Kansas City Public Library is seeking an energetic and creative Teen Services Librarian. Reporting to the Director of Youth & Family Engagement, this librarian will have a home base at the Plaza Branch.
