KC Memory Cafe is for those living with memory loss and their care partners.
The Overland park Arboretum and the Ruiz Seed Library join us for an interactive session on trees, seeds, and all things green and growing. Enjoy refreshments and interesting conversations as we learn more about nature.
What is a Memory Cafe? Memory Cafes provide a safe place to learn and socialize for people living with dementia and their care partners. The Cafes offer opportunities to meet new people, explore new ideas, and stay engaged in the community.
Sponsored by: The Creativity Connection, Arts & AGEing KC, Prairie Elder Care, The Alzheimer's Association, Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, Villages of Jackson Creek Memory Care, and Kansas City Public Library.

This group will meet weekly for eight weeks to discuss the interesting lives of these characters and to learn more about sexuality and the many complex relationships we have in our lives. Each participant will receive a free book and journal. Dinner and snacks will be provided.
