We are celebrating one full year of the Plaza Library's Memory Cafe with a special Birthday Party! We will have songs, laughter, cake and punch in during this fun, dementia friendly program. We will also have Music Bingo with our friends from Carrieoke.
Memory Cafe is a monthly program designed as a multi-sensory experience for people experiencing dementia and their caregivers.
10:30 am to 12:00 pm
Stop in at the North-East Public Library for a healthy after-school snack and fun activity, craft, or game. In partnership with Harvesters, Kids Cafe will be every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 4:00-5:00.
You must be ages 4-18 to receive a meal and the meal must be eaten in the kids cafe room.

Join us Tuesday & Thursday evenings to improve your health while having fun, making connections, and receiving great tips and recipes by joining our 2019 Spring Weight Loss Challenge! Prizes for winners and participants include a Fitbit, $100 Gift Card, Healthy Harvest Mobile Market Vouchers, Library Gift Pack, and much more! You can join at anytime throughout the program, but take full advantage by starting the first week. This program is in partnership with Truman Medical Centers Wellness Connection, TMC Healthy Harvest Mobile Market, and NickiFit.
