A recent global survey rated residents of the Eastern Himalayan country of Bhutan as the happiest in Asia. Experience the smells, tastes, and sounds of Kansas City’s Bhutanese community with an afternoon of poetry, music, dance, visual art, and food.

This event is presented by the Vox Narro project that pairs writers with immigrant communities to give voice to the voiceless. Vox Narro is supported by the Rocket Grants program, which is funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and administered by the Charlotte Street Foundation and the Spencer Museum of Art to support innovative, public-oriented work in nontraditional spaces.
