The event features remarks by authors and other individuals who contributed to the 2015 report. The book, which will be available for purchase at the event, features a special section focusing on urban health disparities and related topics, including access to healthcare, mental health, and the Affordable Care Act. Also included is collection of essays on education, economics, social justice and civic engagement and a panoramic view of the gaps between blacks and whites and Hispanics and whites in health, economics, education, and social justice in the Greater Kansas city area.
