John Curatola of the Military History Department at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth discusses the military career of General Curtis LeMay.
While serving in the United States Army Air Forces, LeMay was credited with an effective, but controversial, incendiary bombing campaign in the Pacific theater of World War II. LeMay would later reorganize the Strategic Air Command, incorporating atomic weapons.
The event is the sixth in the Great Commanders series.
