Notice of Public Hearing 

(Kansas City Public Library) 

There will be a public hearing before the Board of Trustees of Kansas City Public Library at the Annex Board Room, 913 Baltimore Avenue in Kansas City, MO 64105, at 4:30PM on the 23rd of September 2025. Citizens may provide public comments on the property tax rate proposed to be set by Kansas City Public Library for the 2025 tax year. The following information is provided pursuant to RSMo.67.110: 

Assessed Valuation    

Increase in tax revenue due to increase in assessed value as a result of  

New construction and improvement, if proposed tax rate is adopted.                                   $  420,356 

Increase in tax revenue as a result of reassessment, if proposed tax rate is adopted 

(list both dollar increase and percentage increase.)        $ 381,665

*Subject to revision based on the receipt of the assessed valuation established by the Board of Equalization and contingent upon receipt of forms and subsequent review and certification of rate computations by the State Auditor’s Office.
