The Road to Abilene
Scheduled for completion and reopening this summer, the makeover entails renovation of the 25,000-square-foot exhibit space and exhibits. Tim Rives, supervisory archivist and deputy director of the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, and Curator William Snyder examine the ambitious project and lead an interactive discussion of the function and importance of presidential libraries in Abilene and across America.
Their presentation, in partnership with the Eisenhower Foundation, concludes a series of events coinciding with the exhibit Eisenhower’s Middle Road at the Central Library.
